Orange Regional Medical Center (ORMC), is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization. Formed by the merger of Arden Hill Hospital and Horton Medical Center, Orange Regional is licensed for 383 beds and employs over 2,500 healthcare professionals including over 600 doctors. Orange Regional Medical Center has consolidated two existing campuses onto a single site in Middletown, New York. This completed facility is the first new freestanding hospital built in the State of New York since 1989 and is the largest medical center between the Tappan Zee Bridge and Albany.

Responsibilities

The position is the result of an ever growing need for hospital providers to manage payer denials and resolve root issues to protect and improve reimbursement. In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Denials Management Analyst is responsible for analyzing payer denials, researching root cause and resolution, and reporting data for the entire hospital system. Formulates policy and planning of the processes identified to be improved to protect revenue and receive the expected reimbursement determined with contractual agreements with the payers.

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education: Associates Degree Required.

Minimum Experience: Requires 2-3 years of patient financial services management and accounts receivable experience with a functional knowledge in hospital billing and registration environment.

Physical Requirements:
Primarily sedentary with intermittent standing and walking.

Working Conditions: Inside office facilities with frequent interaction with co-workers, Management,Administrative, and other Medical Center staff.

Responsibilities The Inventory Analyst will support and assist with development and implementation of Supply Chain initiatives. The Inventory Analyst will ensure adherence to established data standards. The Inventory Analyst will conduct analysis to increase efficiency and reduce costs. The Inventory Analyst will analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements. The Inventory Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to; financial and cost analysis, research, investigation, database management, and process improvement. The Inventory Analyst must have strong business acumen, problem solving skills, able to work independently, and attention to detail is paramount in this position. The Inventory Analyst will work across different departments with all levels of hospital employees. Qualifications Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement and Materials Management preferred. Prior experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Proficient in Excel, Word and other Microsoft programs required. Required Certification/Registration: N/A Physical Demands: Sedentary with light walking around the hospital. Computer based. Working Conditions: Office setting. Constant communication with all levels of hospital employees, suppliers and sales representatives. Communication through email, fax phone and in person.
