About this position

The Revenue Cycle Business Analyst is the primary resource for analytical needs of Revenue Cycle Services, Revenue Cycle Departments and Revenue Cycle Management. Analyzes data to help identify receivable risks and revenue cycle trends, provides feedback and possible corrective action, works with payers, staff and IT to resolve difficult accounts and build issues within EPIC and other revenue cycle systems.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma, AA/AS degree with Business/Healthcare focus preferred..

• Epic certification preferred but not necessary

Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in hospital revenue cycle related business including responsibility for compiling, analyzing and interpreting data.

• Minimum 3 years of EPIC, HB and PB experience • Knowledge of hospital and clinic revenue cycle models, systems and processes.

• Ability to work with other departments and personnel to come to resolution on desired outcomes

• Skilled in compiling and analyzing complex data.

• Skilled in producing reports from databases using various report writing or programming tools such as BOE, WebE, Epic.

Licensure/Certification
