Revenue Cycle Analyst-Pmg Finance Rev Cycle

The Revenue Cycle Reporting Analyst is an integral member of the Revenue Cycle Department. At a high level, this position should be able to develop the skills to identify a Professional Revenue Cycle business problem, identify the data that would be required to determine the root cause and financial impact of the problem, develop reporting to clearly illustrate the problem, and publish/communicate the results. Using revenue cycle performance data, this position is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve up front patient collections, throughput (clean claims) and maximize fee for service payments by monitoring yield, denials, and controllable write-offs. This resource should also have a strong technical aptitude to learn new tools quickly, and have the ability to teach others how to use the tool.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in Health Care Industry or related field.

• Physician Office.

• Revenue Cycle.

• Physician or Hospital Billing.

• Health Insurance.

• Outpatient ambulatory.

• Clinical Quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, healthcare administration or related field or equivalent educ/experience

• The position requires a minimum of 1 year experience in an healthcare system. Experience in Professional Billing Revenue Cycle Management is preferred.

• Experience in project management, information technologies, quality improvement, healthcare administration, and analytics.
