What would I be doing?

This position is responsible for performing audits of table games revenue, slot revenue, hotel revenue, food and beverage revenue and cashier activity as assigned, and various tasks in compliance with company and regulatory procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Audit all documentation of table games transactions, using casino system and/or audit all documentation of slot transactions, using casino (slot) system and/or audit all documentation of the cage transactions and/or audit all of food, beverage and retail transactions, using the point of sale system and/or audit all documentation of hotel and related transactions using the property management system.

  • Report deviations and incidents of non-compliance relating to procedures, policies, and/or internal controls found in the daily audits.

  • Job Tasks must be finished in a timely and accurate manner according to department standards.

  • Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Audit Leadership Team.

  • Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and data entry skills.

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • 10-key calculator skills.

  • Excellent verbal communication required with sound administrative skills.

  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Required Education and Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

VIEW JOBS 12/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-13T00:00 Job Description As part of Cerner's Revenue Cycle Management organization, the Revenue Cycle Audit Specialist team is dedicated to the mission of supporting Cerner's health solutions that cross many roles and venues in health care. As a Revenue Cycle Audit Specialist, you will help ensure quality in our medical billing processes. You will have responsibility for auditing all medical billing functions and maintaining the appropriate files, records, and documentation. You are also responsible for auditing third party partners and vendors. These functions include uploading files, reports, and logs for sample sizes needed for third party audits. As a Revenue Cycle Audit Specialist, you will review and respond to all quality audit inquiries which include disputed findings and implement quality assurance initiatives. You will work alongside the experts to gain knowledge and skills that will prepare you for a long-term, meaningful career with Cerner. Additional Information Applicants for U.S. based positions with Cerner Corporation must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * At least 2 years of health care revenue cycle work experience Preferred Qualifications: * At least 5 years of revenue cycle management work experience * Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), or other Revenue Cycle certification Expectations: * US work authorization required * Willing to work overtime or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations * Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City area Cerner Kansas City MO
