Under the direction of the Audit Manager, assist in overseeing and perform functions related to gaming and non-gaming revenue audit in accordance with company policy. The incumbent will be responsible in assisting in financial, operational and technical analysis.
Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
Accountable for the performance and operation of the Audit staff.
Develop policies, procedures and internal controls within directly assigned areas to ensure compliance with applicable laws, efficiency and proper controls.
Work with external auditors and third parties on audits or other financial matters as necessary. Assist in the review and approve all legally required Federal and State tax returns and filings within required deadlines.
Assist in developing financial and operating statements. Assists and/or presents information.
Assist with support review meetings to identify and implement process improvements.
Communicate effectively with all levels of management.
Maintain confidentiality of all company records.
Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce excellence in operations and uphold the Golden Nugget culture and standards.
Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Accounting.
Advanced degree and/or professional certification are preferred.
One (1) year experience with significant exposure in financial analysis in casino, hotel or hospitality industry required.
One (1) year experience in a supervisory role required.

Must have solid planning, time management, decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals. Strong computer skills in Accounting Software systems such as Oracle, and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work overtime.
