The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary for the Tunica region, including Hollywood Casino Tunica, and/or 1st Jackpot Casino:

  • Responsible for managing supervisors and staff in the Revenue Audit Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.

  • Creates effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving deadlines.

  • Monitors compliance of revenue activities on the property via the exception process to ensure that all relative documentation is completed in compliance with all applicable laws.

  • Develops and implements procedural policies for Audits, make corrections or revisions as needed, and cooperate with internal and external Auditors as needed.

  • Completes journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and produce various revenue reports and statistical analysis.

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.

  • Attends meetings and collects necessary paperwork at other properties, to include walking a short distance to Resorts and/or driving to 1st Jackpot, within required deadlines.

  • Creates financial spreadsheets and updates information on a regular basis.

  • Provides professional representation at internal and external meetings and events.

  • Responsible for resolving escalated investigations related to any financial or documentation variances.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.

  • Associate's/Technical Degree or Bachelor's Degree; 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Advanced computer knowledge including: MS Office, CMS, SMS and Accounting software.

  • Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests and regulatory agencies.

  • Must have the ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees and guests.

  • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

  • Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret various metrics, financial reports, and legal documents.

  • Must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for staff development and training programs.

  • Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.

  • Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regards to performance.

  • Determines recommendation for staffing (including interviewing and hiring) and scheduling (planning, assigning and directing work) to meet business needs.

  • Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.

  • Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling).

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required. REASONiNG ABiLiTY Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
