Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities

What We're Looking For:

If you are a rising and motivated Revenue Assurance Analyst, you will be excited about the Revenue Assurance Analyst opening on our Commercial Billing team. As a Revenue Assurance Analyst, you will play a key role in conducting daily, cyclical, and monthly billing and invoicing activities stemming from our Products and Services. In this role, you'll gain valuable experience in proper revenue reporting while making a meaningful impact on our customers' experience with their airtime billing. You'll thrive in this role if you are detail oriented and passionate about providing accurate, quality work (always dotting your Is and crossing your Ts).

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and validate invoicing for Airtime Partners and Foreign Subsidiaries

• Assist with researching and resolving billing disputes or variances

• Assist with preparing monthly General Ledger accruals for review by the Finance team

• Assist with all aspects of Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), including invoicing, net settlement, disputes, and processing rate card files

• Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure daily input files are processed from commercial network elements; identify and report any failures

• Support special projects involving pricing, billing, and settlements, as needed

• Support User Acceptance Testing of relevant finance/billing systems and applications

Experience & Education Requirements / EEO

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or related field OR 4 years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required; advanced proficiency with Excel and Access highly desired

• Basic knowledge of SQL with the ability to write and execute queries

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate key messages and ideas clearly and effectively

• Can cultivate meaningful relationships with your manager and members of your team, while being open and responsive to constructive feedback as they guide and mentor you

• The ability to think outside the box to help solve problems, with the humility to ask for help when needed

• Adaptability to a dynamic environment and the readiness to take on any new tasks that are handed to you

• A motivation to achieve outcomes and results

• Capable of handling multiple tasks at once and completing them on time with minimal errors

• An eagerness to develop professionally, continuously learn, and share knowledge with others

Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:

• Previous experience in a Customer Service role

• Previous experience in Accounting, Revenue Assurance, and/or Billing-related functions

• Understanding of billing activities

• Familiarity with the impact of downstream data flows

• Interest in providing a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in work product

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and projects

• Ability to gather combined data from multiple source points and assist in applying to various analyses

Work Environment:

This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer. The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse and printer. For meetings in person, this position will need to be able stand, walk within the office and climb stairs on occasion.
