We have payed out over $500 million directly to creators on our platform this year alone, and our user base has doubled. In order to support this level of growth, we are looking for someone to bring demonstrated experience to our Finance team.*

The Revenue Analyst will be responsible for managing all functions related to Revenue Accounting, Creator and VAT liability, Cost of Revenues, and reconciliation of cash activity involving payment processing. This person will be responsible for accuracy, timeliness and effectiveness of close. The ideal candidate can identify problems, analyze data from multiple sources, and effectively present findings to managers and peers. What you would do:

  • In partnership with Head of Accounting, take full ownership of all things revenue related, including the order to cash processes, refunds, chargebacks, and revenue recognition

  • Responsible for month-end close activities including reconciliation of processor cash balances, revenue accounting, creator and VAT liability and booking of cost of revenue related to processing activity.

  • Development of monthly revenue reporting package for timely distribution to leadership

  • Improve process documentation and perform all relevant tasks for the revenue area

  • Maintain and design appropriate data reports for efficient monthly revenue close process and reporting

  • Liaise with auditors on revenue recognition and related matters as part of interim reviews and annual audit

Skills you possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field

  • Solid knowledge of SQL skills, including complex queries, sub-queries, joins, unions, and functions. Excellent Excel skills (including pivot tables, functions, macros, charts)

  • eCommerce or payments industry experience preferred

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication/relationship building skills

  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, and internal control principles, including GAAP preferred

  • Ability to test and validate query/report data for accuracy and record integrity
