Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team's revenue recognition evaluation (ASC 606) relating to new product launches, new contracts and reimbursement agreements

  • Partner with a cross functional team that reviews and supports the contract drafting process

  • Partner with North America and International Accounting teams to document accounting policies (focus on revenue and gross to net)

  • Build partnerships with global accounting, finance and commercial organizations in support of financial reporting requirements both internal and external

  • Partner with SEC Reporting team to prepare revenue recognition disclosures supporting SEC filings

  • Play a key role in the Company's quarterly and annual reviews and audit including the preparation of revenue recognition memos, audit schedules and other auditor requests

  • Partner with International Accounting Team in support of statutory audits and financial statements

  • Ability to establish global and cross functional business partnerships and represent the Global Revenue Accounting team

  • Ability to effectively lead meetings with senior management focused on complex issues

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance

  • 7 years of progressive accounting experience in revenue accounting or pharmaceutical industry general ledger experience preferred. Public accounting experience also a plus

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of software (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA
  • Revenue and/or public accounting experience

Pharmaceutical industry experience

What you'll do as a Senior Accounting Analyst: * Generate and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reports used by Finance and Accounting for Financial Statements Reporting and Regulatory Reporting requirements. * Gain a thorough understanding of the company's loyalty and promotions program and how it impacts the Financial Statement close and external reporting as well as tax-related requirements. * Partner with Product, Data Engineering, Compliance, and other stakeholders to enhance current reporting and foster understanding of data sources. * Provide ad-hoc queries and analysis as necessary. * Assist with researching new requirements, clarifying requests, and preparation necessary information related to both internal and external reporting. What skills you will use: * A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, or a related field is required. * You also have at least 3 years of professional experience. * Advanced Excel skills. * Experience in a highly regulated industry is preferred. * Experience with SQL and Tableau is preferred. * Prior experience in a public company is preferred.
