Summary

The Project Manager (PM) will assess, organize and implement steps to complete various projects throughout the department. The PM will be responsible for managing projects and the resources necessary (internal and external), as well as their timely completion and evaluation with the objective of supporting the Retirement Services Department to improve efficiencies, compliance and effectiveness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate projects and meetings

  • Assess, plan, develop and execute projects

  • Communicate project status, risks, issues and recommended solutions to Director and business stakeholders

  • Ensure projects are managed to schedule, within budget and support business stakeholder expectations

  • Develop project plans and presentations for stakeholder updates

  • When required, work closely with Retirement Plans Associate/Coordinator and other internal and external stakeholders

  • Concurrently manage multiple assignments and deadlines

Qualifications

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in related field

  • Minimum Required: 5+ year's retirement services-related experience, with project management a plus

Education and Experience

  • Sound project management capability

  • Quickly adapts to changes in priorities

  • Understands practices and vocabulary of the retirement industry

Systems and Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
