A day in the life of a retirement plan support specialist includes supporting our clients and their employees with 401(k) knowledge, working closely with the retirement plan manager and benefits team, and administering Nextep’s 401(k) plan.
This role requires an eye for detail because you’ll be monitoring eligibility, enrollment, and participation changes, as well as handling mergers/transfers of prior retirement plan assets and reconciliation and reporting.
Manage the new adopter installation process with Nextep’s 401(k) partner to ensure timely and compliant plan installation.
Develop and distribute communication materials, including newsletters and guides, to promote retirement plan awareness and engagement among employees.
Requirements
About you:
You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
You have at least one to two years of benefits, 401(k), or customer service experience.
You have some ERISA experience in the retirement industry.
