The Retirement Plan Investment Advisor is responsible for delivering the advice and guidance of the Investment Committee of Navigate Retirement Solutions to designated individuals of the plan sponsor, including plan committee members and trustees and for building and maintaining a trusted advisor relationship with these designees and the plan sponsor client. In addition, the advisor will coordinate and deliver education services, as defined in the services agreement, in a form and manner that is consistent with guidelines established by the leadership of Navigate Retirement Solutions.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and at least five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
AIF designation preferred
Series 6, 63, 65 and/or 66 (Past or present) preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge of ERISA fiduciary requirements, especially those related to the Investment Management and investment advisory roles and responsibilities.
Foundational knowledge of qualified plan compliance and government reporting rules.
Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from clients, company management and colleagues.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret legislative changes, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to create reports, professional business correspondence and procedures.
Ability to relate to all kinds of people regardless of background; finds topics and common interests that he/she can use to build rapport with others.
Develops new business, identifies and sells to customer needs, translates product features to benefits, has good listening skills, is sensitive to customers, delivers effective presentations, negotiates well, uses closing skills appropriately, develops sales skills.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or written form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Must have knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office applications. Position requires domestic travel for client meetings, conferences and trade.
