This position is for an established a productive professional individual contributor to Non-Actuarial Retirement Consulting, who works independently with minimal supervision. This Consultant will complete analysis of defined contribution plan designs, complete non-discrimination testing and support fee benchmarking and vendor search projects including cost analysis and program summaries. Duties will include working directly with multiple senior consultants in varying geographies. This role requires project management skills and may involve checking of other analysts' work.Responsibilities will include:
Perform necessary calculations or analysis on plan design costing projects including analyzing current participant behavior, projecting costs based on static and projected populations over single or multiple years using excel and Studio.
Conduct analysis of administrative fees for fee benchmarking and vendor search projects. Support drafting of rfis/rfps and analysis of vendor responses including review of vendor websites.
Complete nondiscrimination testing including ADP/ACP, coverage and general testing using ASC software (prior experience not required) and excel. May participate in review of participant transactions for compliance reviews.
Interact with Investment colleagues on retainer clients and vendor related projects such as vendor searches and fee benchmarking.
Based on experience, may provide checking of spreadsheets and data analysis. Intended to have exposure to clients (by phone and in person where projects permit) based on client needs.
Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance or related field
3+ years pension related work experience preferably in a consulting environment
Successful client relationship experience
Superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Superior analytical ability
Strong presentation skills
