Located in Chicago, IL this position is responsible for renewing and managing large national Employer Group Accounts, ensuring continued and increased growth by selling GROUP Medicare products including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) and Medicare Supplement products to new customers and ensuring renewal business of existing customers by understanding customer needs and providing customer support. This position builds relationships with internal commercial sales departments to partner on new business sales. Develops and executes consultant / broker and direct client sales presentations. This position handles the most complex groups and works with larger brokerage firms, may train and mentor staff, and assist with or lead special projects.
Must have valid, current State Insurance License.
4 years experience as health managed care sales executive or primary account executive.
Thorough knowledge of products (HMO, PPO) processes and trends.
Knowledge of sales and account management methodologies.
Knowledge of managed care products, processes and trends.
Customer Service oriented.

Applicants must take and pass the HCSC Medicare Exam OR must be currently certified having passed the HCSC Medicare Exam to be considered for the position in accordance with federal regulations. PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Medicare experience with large employer groups.
Experience positioning Medicare product offerings by facilitaiting meetings and sessions with large employer groups.
Experience with Medicare products (including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) and Medicare Supplement products)
Must be located in Chicago, IL.
