CROSSMARK Retail Reset Merchandisers are vital to our success! In fast paced retail environments, our specialized Retail Reset Merchandising teams are providing consumers with the opportunity to see and purchase the latest or improved products from our clients. Team members with a keen eye for detail will work with plan-o-grams and schematic layouts to implement merchandise resets for our retail clients across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Using plan-o-grams and schematic layouts, you'll implement department or brand resets in grocery/retail settings.

  • Provide excellent customer service and develop a professional working relationship with store management, associates, and other merchandising companies to meet company and client objectives.

  • Receive required products/materials to be utilized for resets at a secure location

  • Using web-based systems, provide end-of-day reports, recaps, and other information as required.

  • Ensure high levels of collaboration, engagement and customer service at all times.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Prior retail reset or merchandising experience is highly preferred.

  • Ability to successfully complete scheduled department, brand or general reset work activities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with store (client) personnel/management regarding tasks, sales activities, promotions and client sales plan objectives.

  • Strong execution skills with the ability to meet challenging/changing deadlines

  • Regular access to a computer or printer for assigned duties

  • Reliable Internet access

  • Basic computer literacy using internet platforms (Internet Explorer or Chrome)

  • Ability to navigate and utilize a tablet and or smartphone technology as required

  • Reliable transportation - must be able to transport yourself and required product/materials from your residence to execute a variety of work (must be able to travel to multiple locations, typically between 25-40 miles - mileage reimbursement is provided). Associate that utilizes a personal vehicle for business purposes are required to maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and the minimum auto insurance coverage specified by the associate's state of residence.

  • Language Skills:
    English is the primary language skill, however, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.

  • This position requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or balance.

  • You must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds from the floor to waist or chest high. Product resets can be very physical in nature. Reset activities could include removing items from the shelf, moving shelves, building fixtures and displays, reorganizing the products according to the Plan-o-gram provided, replacing shelf tags, filling in new products, and retrieving additional stock when necessary.

  • This role is not expected to exceed 24 hrs. a week, although the company does maintain discretion to change the hours, based on the needs of the client and or business. Typical hours of operation are from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5pm, with occasional projects requiring early morning (5 am-6 am), overnight travel, weekends or evenings as well. Availability preferences: Monday through Friday, with availability to work two to three 6-8 hour days, starting at 5 or 8 am.

Our Retail Electronics Merchandisers visit major retailers where they engage with state-of-the-art gadgets and technologies, from headphones, tablet displays to printers, drones and so much more. Your ability to troubleshoot, install and repair consumer electronics is paramount to your in-store success. Your strong communication skills will enable you to build successful relationships with store management and associates. Your attention to detail and preparation ensures successful execution of assignments in-store. As a digital savvy individual, you can upload comprehensive data and photos via a tablet while on site. PURPOSE: The retail electronics merchandiser will be conducting break-fix, installation, and ad-hoc maintenance work, in addition to general merchandising tactics. Responsibilities include installing/building displays, end caps, fixturing, and maintenance of those displays, planogram resets, conducting break-fix repairs, FedEx team leadership, and in-market training for other areas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: * Install and/or build displays, fixturing, and endcaps; involving the setup of security, cabling, wiring, monitors/media players, and audio connectivity * Troubleshoot and resolve issues necessary to ensure displays are fully functional and meet maintenance requirements * Meet Ad-hoc maintenance requirements which include: * Store service within 48-72 hours * Travel up to 60 miles with paid Drive Time and Mileage * Independently troubleshoot and enable a fully-functional display given necessary parts * Report the status of each store visit accurately to show success in achieving objectives * Perform general merchandising functions including but not limited to reset PLANOGRAMs, POP, and pricing/fact tags * Conduct one-on-one training for other BDS market reps as necessary regarding break-fix work and IC Offline App data entry * Participate actively in weekly conference calls * Complete administrative tasks, including but not limited to scheduling reports within 24-48 hours of program launch and report visits by project end date * Other tasks as requested by management EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Complete/Pass required Break Fix and ad-hoc paid training requirements as well as one-off project training prior to conducting visits * Experience in building displays, fixturing, monitor cabling/connectivity * Able to read schematics and correctly connect components * Experience using tools required to maintain displays * Experience in troubleshooting and fixing display issues, i.e.…light fixtures, malfunctioning buttons, computer/tablet/Smartphone demo-related issues, software reboots, electronic component connectivity, etc. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: * Must have good verbal and written communication skills * Detail oriented and highly organized * Ability to independently manage an account base * Display a professional demeanor at all times * Must be able to work Monday through Friday with availability to work in-store from 8 am – 2 pm each week with some occasional weekend work * Must be proficient with using and have either a Tablet (Android or Apple) or a Smartphone (Android OS 5.0 or Apple iOS 7.0 or higher) as well as an active data plan, according to required specifications * Must have a computer with internet/web access and the ability to send and receive email attachments * Reliable transportation required * Must make the commitment to complete the market area's minimum weekly or special project hours requests PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
