JOB PURPOSE

The Retail Visual Graphic Coordinator helps to drive sales by utilizing marketing assets to support the SKECHERS brand and highlight big initiatives in company owned stores. You will work with the merchandising team curating the product collection and ensuring the best product is represented. This role will work closely with the graphics department to create and choose compelling in-store signage and lifestyle graphics to highlight big initiatives and categories to consistently drive our brand message of a Comfort Technology Company. This role will be responsible for coordinating complex print production projects, consisting of multiple substrates with varying installation applications from inception to completion. This role will play a crucial part in keeping the graphics production organized, on task, on budget and in sync with other groups within SKECHERS. This position is responsible for supporting the end-to-end process of space planning and will act as the point of contact for all planograms.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS

  • Coordinate the production of Bi-Annual graphic rollout out for all company owned stores.

  • Assist in creating the graphic layouts (planograms) for High - Profile locations in and ensure the brand is well represented.

  • Partners with merchants, planners, and visual teams to create cohesive and elevated visual merchandising strategies for stores.

  • Maintain consistently high visual standards through regular conference calls and recap documents.

  • Ensure all floor plans, photographs, merchandising layouts, etc. for Company Owned stores are organized, up to date, and organized on the server.

  • Responsible for making continuous improvements to the planogram process, while maintaining and updating planograms, monthly end caps and product resets.

  • Maintain all department planning calendars, plan-o-grams, marketing sheets and library.

  • Create comprehensive visual and merchandising guides so stores can easily understand direction and execute consistently.

  • Maintain the visual displays and execution in the Corporate Mock Store. (including pricing) Mock Store must consistently mirror assortment in store 1.

  • Administration duties include compiling meeting notes, maintaining department calendars (windows, work back), and all other duties as assigned.

  • Partners closely with allocations, planners, and buyers to create cohesive and elevated visual strategies.

  • Liaise with the international visual team to keep all parties updated on schedule, dates for merchandising tools, and work with key executives to manage issues as they arise.

  • Partners with SKECHERS international Franchise, and Distributors to ensure they have all assets.

  • Creates comprehensive visual merchandising guides so stores can easily.

  • Frequently visits local high-profile stores and provides feedback to Visual Manager and Directors.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Strong self-starter with good project management skills.

  • Deadline-oriented with superior organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong product knowledge and the ability to understand marketing trends and programs and translate their impact into visual merchandising.

  • Ability to read and comprehend floor plans and work with our store designers, understanding the limitations we have with graphics.

eDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a focus on retail merchandising, retail planning, or visual merchandising.

  • 2+ years of experience preferred in a corporate or consulting retail design environment.

  • 2+ years of experience in visual merchandising, space planning, assortment planning, or product presentation, preferably with a multi-channel and or vertical retailer.

  • Demonstrated skill in the production of printed matter.

  • Ability to calculate and monitor costs and provide accurate estimates to assure that budgetary constraints and quality expectations are met.

  • Must possess above-average computer skills including Excel, Photoshop, In-Design, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Demonstrate a high degree of expense awareness and control, strong affinity for numbers.

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.

The pay range for this role is $28-$32/hr USD
