The Full-Time Lead Experience Consultant will beexpected to empower the consumer using device discovery. The SEC will beexpected to drive an interactive consumerexperience by promoting and selling the newest Samsung ecosystem of devices andaccessories: phones, tablets, wearables, VR, and other designated products suchas TVs and home appliances. The Full-TimeLead Experience Consultant will also work closely with the other ExperienceConsultants as well as store personnel to build and maintain strong relationships, and to support objectivesto meet client expectations.

TheFull-Time Lead Experience Consultant will:

  • Possess and demonstrate competencies of:

  • Closing the Sale

  • Building Relationships

  • Consumer Focus

  • Technical Learning

  • Coaching including Giving Timely and Effective Feedback

  • Conduct consumer facing activities in order to meet sales goals, using your unique skills and experience to make each experience personal and memorable

  • Demonstrate key features and benefits, assist consumers with the setup of devices and trouble shoot issues. Provide "walk out working" after purchase

  • Focus on the brand as a lifestyle, unique to each consumer

  • Conduct product training and knowledge transfer for sales reps to facilitate consumer engagement and sales.

  • Conduct consumer skills workshops

  • Manage performance against established sales goals

  • Build brand presence through interaction with retailer through merchandising, display maintenance and some POP and plan-o-gram compliance

  • Maintain knowledge of all client products in order to be a subject matter expert onsite

  • Provide competitive insights to management as requested

  • Make a significant impact on sales across multiple categories and improve the consumers' buying experience

  • Demonstrate effective decision-making skills and the ability to reason and take action in resolving problems while exhibiting professional sound judgment

  • Complete call reports, paperwork, and on-going personal training in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines

  • Effectively coach and give feedback to peers, focusing on behaviors that drive sales and consumer satisfaction

  • Must be flexible to work at multiple locations if required

  • Maintain excellent attendance and compliance

  • Other duties as assigned

Thecandidate's success will be measured against:

  • Sales and training performance metrics

  • Educate and share product feature and benefit information with consumers

  • Exhibit an energetic and enthusiastic attitude and friendly, positive interpersonal communication skills

  • Understand the needs of different types of consumers

  • Ability to set up customers' device based on their individual usage needs and interests

  • Deliverables specific to resets, demo product displays and functionality, and cleanliness of space

Qualifications:

  • Must be tech-savvy and enjoy working with interactive technology gadgets, understanding relationships of products within an ecosystem

  • Previous experience in a sales environment

  • Experience in coaching and giving timely and relevant feedback to peers or direct reports

  • 1 - 2 years of wireless and or/ PC retail sales and/or training experience is a plus

  • Experience working with any of the larger wireless carriers is a plus

  • Naturally inquisitive and stays current with the latest technology a plus

  • Independent and motivated team player

  • Regular physical activity may be required, e.g., setting up promotional material

  • Ability to work a very flexible retail schedule, hours may vary

  • Must have the ability to commute to assigned store and arrive on time for assigned shift(s)

  • Ability to stand comfortably for up to 8 hours a day

  • Daily access to a PC computer with internet/email access

  • Strong working knowledge Windows and Microsoft Office
