Retail Sales & Service Specialist

Comporium is a diversified communications company providing a Quintuple Play of five services -- voice, video, data, wireless and security -- at the retail level; as well as, providing security monitoring and media services for its industry customers. Function in multiple roles that support the performance of the store's retail experience. Maintain strong knowledge of all products, accessories, pricing plans, promotions and service features. Provide efficient, courteous customer service and assist in all aspects of product offerings and services. Drive sales through customer engagement and solution selling. Educate and engage customers through product demonstrations. Handle all administrative aspects of the sale. Understand and be able to explain customer bills and answer service related questions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive sales through customer engagement and solution selling

• Ensure a positive customer experience by greeting the customer in a friendly and professional manner, handling customer needs, billing questions and complaints

• Handle all administrative aspects of the sale including entering orders accurately and notating accounts

• Educate and engage customers through product knowledge and demonstrations

• Function in multiple roles that support the performance of the stores retail experience, including but not limited to taking payments, entering orders accurately and handling equipment

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum High School Diploma

• 1-2 years of previous retail sales and customer service experience.

• Must work well with customers and in a team environment.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs., stand and walk for extended periods of time and be punctual for assigned schedule.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Good computer skills
