Position Overview
Responsible for all sales and operational functions of the assigned Rockville CleanStop store location. Duties include maintaining excellent customer service, achieving sales and margin goals, property management, employee development, and maintaining financial records. Also responsible for supporting the other CleanStop Teams with key responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
Generates internal and external CleanStop sales by solicitation, cold calling, and customer relationships.
Oversees the daily sales and operational functions of assigned CleanStop location.
Operates and reconciles cash registers to receive payments in the form of credit card, cash, or check.
Communicates weekly with CleanStop leadership.
Coordinates sales promotion activities and prepares or direct workers in preparing merchandise displays.
Prospect, profile, identify and close business in the small to medium size company "growth market" through consistent cold calling, networking, and other lead generation means.
Prepare quotations, proposals and presentations based on the customer's product and service requirements.
Drives revenue and sales to meet goals through prospecting, active funnel management and closing business.
Ensures any price increases, special promotions etc. are communicated to customers well in advance.
Responsible for all store inventories including reorders and deliveries.
Participates in monthly off-site sales meetings.
Plans and prepares employee work schedules to ensure compliance with company policy.
Accurately prepares, communicates, and delivers the stores daily financial records to corporate, including closeouts and making bank deposits daily.
Supervises all location staff. Manages time, attendance, scheduling, hiring, performance management and development.
Performs proper accounting procedures as they relate to closeouts, order/entry, credit/rebills, product knowledge, customer service, and store appearance.
The ideal candidate will have:
3+ years of retail sales experience
At least 1 year of management experience
Facility supplies / JanSan product knowledge a PLUS.
Superior oral communication skills
Excellent Sales ability and skills
Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) highly preferred
Excellent customer relations skills
Self-driven, motivated, and results oriented.
Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills
Basic computer skills
Must be able to work occasional weekends and or travel to regional store locations.
Able to resolve complaints and problems as they arise from customers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to develop and motivate subordinates.
Ability to obtain product knowledge quickly and product applications
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
