Position Summary: The Retail Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the retail sales team and assisting with customer relationships. They assist in managing sales activities, coordinating with customers and internal teams, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to contribute to the overall sales efforts and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Be the point person for all retail sales representatives for product information and liaise with the Purchasing department and individual buyers
Discuss customer-related issues, sales targets, new products, etc.
Discuss achievements, and challenges, receive feedback
Support retail sales reps where necessary
Compile and disseminate monthly Reps commission report
Maintain active up-to-date OMS/retail sales promotions for sales representatives
Maintain communication with sales reps and management with important account information
Assist in managing retail mitigation reports /inventory management
Ensure disco items get 100% sell through/inventory management
Manage retail order guides
Manage retail item set up within JDE and customer portals
Manage retail pricing and ensure accuracy through price locks and vendor portal
Assist with timely Holiday execution
maintain accurate customer rebate program
Assist with A/R and credits for accounts
Assist is retail sales/ Merchandising meetings
Receive incoming calls from customers, assist with order entry as needed
Maintain active list of distributors, vendors and broker network
Work cross-functionally with all CW companies and departments as needed
Assist with miscellaneous projects as needed
Coordinate meetings as needed
Minimal travel required less than 10%
Qualifications:
Minimum education: High School Diploma.
Previous retail distribution Inside Sales/Customer Service experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of retail product categories and vendor community preferred.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
Excellent verbal, telephone and written communication skills. Data entry and 10-key experience required.
Proficient in all Microsoft office products Excel, Power Point, Word etc
Self-motivated, professional, goal oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
Must have a sense of urgency and be able to work under pressure.
Flexibility: ability to work well with all departments and levels of staff both internally & externally.
Follow through skills a must.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
