Retail Representative (Part-Time Seasonal)

YOUR ROLE

As a part-time seasonal Retail Representative, your goal is to provide everyone who comes in the store with an amazing experience by making their day better than before they came in. With a warm and welcoming smile, you will be helping our guests choose the perfect souvenirs to take home, promoting feedings, adoptions, and promotional products at the register as well as assisting guests with general inquires. DETAILS

Job Type: Part Time (20-28 hours per week)

Schedule: Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days per week including weekends and holidays. Schedule varies and is dependent on weather and guest attendance.

Please note that this is a seasonal part-time position.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and/or move 20-50 pounds

• Must be able to withstand typical Florida climate including hot and cold conditions.

• Good verbal communication skills

• Ability to work well within a team

• Conduct all activities in alignment with AZA standards and guidelines, all relevant laws and regulations, safety standards, and standards that ensure animal welfare.

• Must be able to work within a designated break schedule.

• Must have physical endurance for long, high volume days.

• The ability to communicate clearly with the general public.

• Manual dexterity for cash handling, use of keyboard/mouse, filing, etc.
