How you'll have an impact:

The Retail Merchandising Production Manager is a critical member of the Brand Team and is responsible for elevating the overall store experience through the development and execution of visual in-store merchandising, while contributing to the multi-faceted functions of the Brand Marketing Team.

You will also own the progress and evolution of existing and next-gen retail store environments and merchandising to directly impact consumer engagement, drive an increase in retail store sales and ensure consistency among all stores.

This is a highly cross-functional role who will partner with Creative, Innovation, Finance, Brand Marketing, Operations, Store Development, Training, and Ecommerce teams to successfully plan and execute critical initiatives throughout the year.

Location: Onsite at our Sandy Springs, GA home office 4 days a week, working from home Fridays.

Retail Print Merchandising:

  • Collaborate with Creative and Brand Marketing Teams to brief, concept and execute seasonal in-store print merchandising toolkits. From overseeing photo and/or video shoot needs, to handling the print production. You will act as the subject matter expert for how the brand visual identity translates in-store.

  • Drive the environmental and aesthetic vision & design at retail. Omni-sensory updates include:

  • All in-store merchandising + development of retail merchandising best practices

  • In-store graphics and printed materials

  • Programming of content for digital menu boards

  • In-store fixtures, such as: rugs, equipment, and coolers

  • Retail uniform program and store associate presentation

  • Exterior signage, van wraps, other exterior branding or extensions of the store

  • Path-to-purchase foot traffic flow and shopper journey touchpoints

  • Play a key role in leading and executing the next-gen visual refresh across Edible's retail footprint for 2024, supporting the cross-functional team at corporate and Edible Franchisees as needed.

Production:

  • Oversee the strategy, creative development, execution and fulfillment of printed marketing materials, visual merchandising assets, and store signage kits throughout the year for distribution to nearly 1,000 unique retail locations as well as merchandising guidelines, planograms and training communications.

  • Oversee and own the merchandising production process, including but not limited to maintaining healthy relationships with print production vendors, bidding out jobs for most cost-effective solution, going on press checks, and overseeing successful delivery and installation at retail.

  • Maintain a network of print production vendors, who can be tapped for bidding out work as needed

  • Manage annual budget specific to in-store print, experiential marketing and merchandising materials

Franchisee Support:

  • Serve as the primary cross-functional Marketing Support to the Store and Franchisee Development Team, quickly meeting and responding to retail merchandising and marketing requests

  • Manage franchisee compliance and ensure they're adopting and correctly implementing corporate retail strategy, brand visual identity, and in-store printed merchandising materials

Requirements:

  • Retail merchandising print production management experience, preferably with consumer centric brands or services in the retail, restaurant and/or hospitality industries.

About You:

  • You understand how to communicate to a retail consumer at each step in the shopper's journey and will have a point of view on how to bring this to life in the stores.

  • Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and ability to own and see a project through from beginning to end.

  • You can seamlessly communicate complex concepts in clear concise language to establish and implement strategies that align with business needs and objectives to gain buy-in from stakeholders.

  • You understand how to take a brand's visual identity system and make it work at retail and throughout the in-person shopper journey

  • Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships (e.g., senior management, stakeholders, franchisees, vendors, etc.) and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support.

  • Ability to adapt and adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and to understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks within the parameters of the organizational structure, processes, systems, and policies

  • Self-starter and comfortable with using judgement to navigate ambiguity
