Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$47,500 - $50,000

Job Summary

The Retail Operations Manager oversees operations support functions for Owned Retail showrooms. This includes compliance and execution of all showroom tools, incentives and rewards programs, safety, security, fraud prevention, product launches, etc. Beyond this broad list of responsibilities, a process improvement mindset is critical to this role, whether it is creating or revising policies, procedures, or processes that drive improved customer experience or save time and money.

This role works closely with the field leadership team which includes the Director of Retail Sales and Operations, District Managers, and Showroom Managers in a collaborative and problem-solving manner with the goal of delivering results that help Owned Retail deliver superior customer experiences and run operationally excellent showrooms.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities for this role are:

  • Manage implementation, maintenance, compliance, and execution of all showroom tools, including Matrix Retail (scheduling), Affirm (financing), Clienteling, Auravision, MPOS, etc., to ensure all tools are being fully and successfully leveraged in each showroom.

  • Manage and maintain healthy and effective working relationships with all vendor partners, including Matrix Retail, Affirm, Auravision, etc.

  • Partner with Matrix Retail and internal cross functional partners to manage the Matrix Retail integration.

  • Gather and disseminate feedback to ensure processes are working smoothly and tools are being utilized as expected.

  • Provide consistent weekly and monthly reporting for all showroom tools to Field Leaders and Executive Team members to spotlight KPI performance and any issues that arise, then work to quickly resolve those issues.

  • Oversee documentation of all internal retail operations team processes.

  • Complete quarterly reviews of safety and security processes to make sure they are up to date and effective, in partnership with internal safety and security teams. Work to resolve any issues that arise to ensure proper execution across the showroom fleet.

  • Manage and administer incentive programs, sales and payroll targets, reward programs, etc. to ensure effective execution among all showrooms.

  • Partner with Security, Legal, Customer Care, Retail Operations, and Field Leadership to quickly resolve any fraud or theft issues that arise.

  • Maintain flexibility to accommodate any urgent impromptu requests that may come from Field Leaders or Retail Executive Leadership.

  • Execute and manage all processes related to new product launches and product discontinuations to ensure excellent execution by all related partners.

  • Assist the Sr. Retail Operations Manager with all strategy work execution, as assigned by the Chief of Owned Retail Officer.

  • All other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an energetic and driven person with the following skills to join our team.

  • Bachelor's Degree or related retail equivalent work experience.

  • 3 or more years retail experience with focus on store operations in a multi-store or business corporate environment.

  • Ability to effectively interact with executive leadership autonomously and with confidence.

  • Able to drive execution of procedures, processes, and tools through effective communication practices.

  • Detail oriented, self-starter and eager to learn.

  • Ability to interact and engage with cross-functional teams.

  • Candidate must have high degree of flexibility and a track record of quickly adapting to an ever-changing environment.

  • Candidate must display a positive, can-do attitude and must be an active team player.

  • Project management is a passion; you love details and ensuring milestones are met and excel while managing multiple complex projects from strategy to execution.

  • Motivating and inspiring to others with a collaborative working style.

  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
