This Retail Operations Analyst is responsible for on-going reporting of labor scheduling and other related scheduling metrics in order to enhance retail store productivity and customer service through increased efficiencies.


  • Creates exception reporting to support analysis of labor scheduling, forecasting, overtime, and FT/PT hours worked.

  • Maintains data, such as store operating hours and adjustments, promotional information.

  • Troubleshoots issues in labor scheduling software system and acts as the liaison to the labor scheduling software vendor.

  • Identifies process issues and recommends improvements.

  • Tracks budgets and updates manuals and reference tools for labor management processes.

  • Plans and maintains store workload calendar.

  • Supports other store support projects as needed.


  • Analytical with strong problem solving abilities and creative resolution skills

  • Data driven influencing skills.

  • Ability to remain organized, pay attention to detail and meet critical deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills with ability to interact effectively with various skill set and leadership levels.

  • Ability to work with cross functional partners to gain alignment and consensus with key stakeholders on project.

  • Work well independently as well as effectively contribute to a team environment

  • Minimal travel required.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

  • 2+ years' experience in an analyst role in a retail setting required.

  • Labor Management systems experience preferred.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required.

  • Proficient use of other Microsoft office programs.

The Derivatives on boarding & Change team is responsible for new business integration & Change Management for the Derivatives Centre of excellence throughout North America.
