Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Retail National Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key retail accounts at a national level. You will drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, and ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of the retail industry, exceptional communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.

  • Account Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national retail accounts

  • Understand each account's unique needs, goals, and challenges

  • Develop account-specific strategies to drive sales and profitability

  • Sales Strategy:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans

  • Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the retail landscape

  • Revenue Growth:

  • Set sales targets and work to achieve or exceed them

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability

  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth

  • Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up to date on company products and industry trends

  • Train retail staff on product features and benefits

  • Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and national retail accounts

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations

  • Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management

  • Track and report on key performance metrics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field

  • Proven experience in retail sales or account management, preferably at a national level

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Willingness to travel as needed

  • PowerBI & Data analytics

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the retail industry and market dynamics

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Other:

  • The ideal candidate lives within close proximity to a large airport due to travel requirements of approximately 50%+
