Summary & Purpose
This role will Report to the Senior Director of Merchandising and will be responsible for executing assortments in the three retail locations and company owned semis that deliver against financial targets.
Work with the Merchandising Team, Sr. Demand and Supply Planning Analyst, Senior Director of Retail and stores to actively manage inventory levels. This includes initiating backup orders on key core items and major initiatives, recommending orders, increasing/decreasing inventory(determining min/max levels by SKU), and/or canceling orders.
Partner closely with the retail teams and Sr. Demand and Supply Planning Analyst to influence and appropriately optimize the product assortments in each retail location, trucks and events.
Assess and analyze product performance and determine appropriate short, medium, and long term actions to optimize opportunities and minimize risk; draw overarching trend conclusions and convert to actions.
Continuously assess and manage overall health of product assortments and inventory levels.
Provide competitive analysis, including pricing and promotional strategies, and market trends.
Maintain and demonstrate constant understanding of the competitive environment.
Merchandise and present seasonal product assortments that meet financial targets and maximize brand's objectives
Provide thorough and meaningful analysis of departmental businesses and effectively articulate learning's to cross-functional partners.
Execute markdowns and RTVs, ensure transfer requests for stock balancing purposes are executed as needed.
Build relationships with direct and indirect cross functional partners: purchasing, planning/allocation and marketing.
Help to create allocation strategies based on seasonality, trend, store capacity and stock-to-sales, partnering with planning to develop and implement these strategies.
Review orders with in-store date 30 days out to identify any changes required. Prioritize key styles/categories for delivery.
Monitor on hand inventory levels for upcoming features and events; communicate concerns
Assists in building local assortments that meet customer needs to drive profitability.
Travel to each retail location every 6 8 weeks
Travel to major rallies throughout the year
