Project Description:

Being an Independent Contractor working with SPAR Field Services Inc. means enjoying a flexible environment. Most of the merchandising work performed for clients is set around a client's window of time rather than specific hours, allowing you to set your own schedule. You choose when and how much work you want.

As an Independent Contractor with SPAR Field Services Inc., you can service various products, conduct resets, product cut-ins, returns, POP placement and other general merchandising activities. We have available part-time, on-going work servicing a wide-variety of clients/retailers for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits.

Things you should know:

  • Merchandising and/or retail experience

  • Available weekday daytime hours

  • Able to read plan-o-grams

  • Able to carry and lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly

  • Able to bend, stoop and stand for extended periods

  • Internet access with an active email address

  • Android or iOS smart phone and/or tablet for wireless reporting

  • Report client work completions on the same day as service

  • Reliable transportation, some travel involved

Responsibilities Sayres is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with a current SECRET clearance, verifiable in JPAS, to support the DDG1000 program. Position will be based in Bath, ME and limited travel is possible to Washington, DC and San Diego, CA. Qualifications & Clearance Requirements The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the following: * On-site PMS 500 and IWS representation support for DDG 1000 Class Surface Combatants currently in construction at Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine. * Creating, monitoring, and updating status reports on HM&E Total Ship Test Program to shipbuilding milestone events. * Reviewing engineering drawings and installation documentation necessary to execute those specifications (requires expertise with the development of test planning documentation, including test plans, test requirements, test specifications, and test procedures for Naval power generation systems, distribution and integrated combat systems). * Reporting weekly test progress with trending metrics and graphics. * Participating in Readiness Reviews for Fuel On-Load, Generator Light-off, Dock Trials, MELO, trials, Sail-away, and other major reviews as the Program Manager requests. * Collating various shipyard reports and establishing current metrics to plan. * Working within "In Process Teams" for the Bath Supervisor of Shipbuilding to include but not limited to: High Voltage, ECS, IPS, SGAS and Integration IPTs. * Evaluating change paperwork and drawings to include BSIRs, ZPTs, PCs, WFRCIAs, RCIAs, and LI for completion via on-board physical verification. * Working as a team member that may include vendors, government representatives, and other Sayres employees. Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements: * High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years of practical experience in the design, engineering, operation, testing, and maintenance of combat systems, mechanical, electrical power generation and distribution and control through ECS onboard US Naval combatant ships. * Experience drafting correspondence to include briefs, data analysis presentations, and technical reports. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Access, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint. * Ability to research and interpret technical documentation. * Knowledge and familiarity with JIRA, Electrical Tool database, CATIA, Specifications, and shipyard applications. * Professional level written and verbal communication skills. * Knowledge of the construction, system installation, integration/test and operation of Main Propulsion, Power Generation/Distribution, associated Auxiliary Support, and Mission Systems elements. * Secret security clearance. Preferred Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. * Ability to create Access databases and Excel spreadsheets and manipulate data for graphic analysis and presentations.
