This position helps guide the bank's retail marketing and advertising programs with a focus on product positioning, brand strategy and media strategy.
Helps develop retail banking marketing programs based on business objectives, product positioning and marketplace opportunities.
Manages ongoing programs content, design, offers and media across all retail product areas (deposit, lending, cards, workplace banking) with respect to product positioning, competitive landscape and specific tactical opportunities.
Works closely with bankers in the field, internal product and strategy managers and creative and media resources.
Establishes media programs and manages them for optimal impact and return on investment.
Assesses and improves effectiveness of marketing across print, digital and OOH channels and targeted market segments.
Stays current with trends, issues and ideas in the retail banking space; coordinates 3rd party research and builds out points of view regarding customer preferences, competitive market set and relevant trends.
Maintains effective relationships with external partners, manages vendor relationships and serves on organization-wide and industry related committees.
Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
Superior project management skills are needed to successfully implement initiatives crossing organizational boundaries. Proven ability to manage a variety of complex issues while driving key projects.

College degree or equivalent work experience required.
3-10 years relevant experience.
