You'll provide an exceptional customer experience through maintaining accurate inventory controls within the store. You will also coach other team members to ensure accuracy of inventory and proper back room operations.

Play an active role in helping both your store and your customer win.

  • Process inventory controls such as return to vendor or return to warehouse

  • Ensure back of house operations and truck process are consistent with company safety policies and standards to maintain stock levels

  • Respond quickly to customer requests and concerns

  • Create a positive, inviting environment for customers and maintain a neat and clean store

  • Understand and use basic selling skills to engage and present solutions

  • Be flexible in performing various responsibilities (i.e. reserving online pick-ups, returns, cashier, other duties as assigned)


Essential skills and experience:

  • Able to work a flexible schedule (including nights and weekends)

  • Must be able to engage with customers and help them with their needs

  • Collaborate and work with other team members

  • High attention to detail; ability to juggle many priorities and manage execution

  • Ability to lift/move materials up to the 100 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously

The Inventory Control Specialist - III will ensure proper organization and availability of products on-site and support the business(es) to optimize their operating (Sales) performance. You will be responsible for overall health of inventory, driving accuracy, utilizing industry standards, best practices and inventory techniques to manage and control inventory flow from Receiving, Stocking to Replenishment. The Inventory Control Specialist - III will work in close cooperation with and good harmony with multiple business stakeholders and will be accountable for fulfilling their operational requirements to drive assigned projects and implement efficiency opportunities. What You'll Do * Core Inventory Management Processes - Receiving, Stocking, Labelling, Re-stocking, Cycle Counting, Negative Inventory Management and Resolution, Inventory Reporting and Excess Inventory Identification and Resolution. * Oversees and reports cycle counts of assigned inventory lots and SKUs. * Subject matter expert for use of internal and external facing systems; Odoo, METRC * Reviews Odoo & Metrc discrepancies for available inventory, finds root causes for these, eliminates them and develops SOPs for structural improvements in conjunction with Corporate TPCo SCL Team. * Creates/maintains Inventory Logs to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current and recent Sales activities to ensure sufficient product availability on location. * Implements/creates procedures to prevent errors. * Ability to use the company information systems at advanced/expert levels - perform reporting, data analysis, making process and operating decisions using data. * High proficiency in Excel to analyze reports, create required cross-sections, develop v-look up tables. * Articulate operating processes and have the mindset to improve them. * Reviews inventory adjustments according to company policy. * Lead Physical Inventory Assignments involving internal/external labor pool. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. What You Have * Embrace and demonstrate alignment with Caliva Values - Integrity, Positive Energy, Connectedness, Bias in Action, and Truth Seeking. * Minimum 3- 5 years inventory management experience or related experience with receiving, stocking, cycle count, or inventory resolution. * Experience using ERP systems to manage inventory. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc. * Ability to multitask and time manage. * Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment. * Provide adequate levels of support to internal stakeholders. * Must be detail oriented and take direction well. * Ability to work as part of a team. * Cannabis experience a plus but not required. * College degree preferred but not required. * Must be reliable and dependable with a good work ethic. Working Environment * This position will work in an indoor warehouse facility and retail location with controlled temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and will work in close proximity with staff. * May be expected to travel to other locations to receive training or support inventory needs. * This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and filing cabinets. * This role requires 100% on-site presence. Job Requirements * Work revolves around objectives, projects and priorities, not hours; Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. * Some lifting, squatting, bending, pushing and pulling. * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis without assistance. * Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for a majority of their work schedule. * Ability to use computer and calculator for 8 hours or more. * Must be 21 years of age or older. * Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. * Selected candidate will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check with the local law enforcement.
