Position Summary: This position is a pivotal role in driving Pro Football Hall of Fame's retail strategy achieving revenue targets and providing exceptional experience for the guests of the Hall.

A Day in the Life:

  • Strategic Planning: develop and implement overall retail strategy to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.

  • Sales Training: create and execute all team sales and guest engagement training. Conduct training sessions with the entire team and daily huddles with the team focusing on driving daily sales.

  • Creative Focus: create ideas for merchandise and apparel marketing campaigns targeting holidays and other events.

  • Execute Marketing Campaigns: demonstrate strong execution of approved marketing efforts, such as setting up merchandise displays that are fun, creative, engaging; coaching the team on marketing campaigns to ensure full effort towards established campaign targets.

  • Operational Leadership: provide leadership and direction to retail operations, including store management, sales, merchandise purchasing, shipping and receiving, e-commerce. Manage store operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and financial reporting.

  • Guest experience: focus on a fun and engaging guest experience. Develop and implement strategies to increase guest satisfaction and loyalty. Create guest focused events that provide a fun atmosphere with a goal to build relationships and/or drive revenue.

  • Team Leadership: build and lead a retail team, providing guidance, coaching, training. Create team building initiatives for the team.

  • Team Collaboration: collaborate marketing and merchandising teams to develop effective sales and promotional strategies.

  • Merchandise Inventory: monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability and positive merchandise turnover. Manage relationships with key retail partners, vendors and suppliers.

Position Schedule: Standard full-time schedule with a 5-day work week and responsibility to cover some weekends (at least 2 weekend days per month). Additional support and coverage during special events.
