Retail Food Service Manager

Unit Description: Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Service Manager at St Louis University Hospital in St Louis, MO.

This food service manager will supervise retail food locations, a We Proudly Serve Starbucks, and catering operations at this medical center. The Retail Food Service Manager will be a dynamic team player with a strong background in managing frontline staff and developing teams in any food services environment. The successful candidate will: manage retail food, coffee, and catering operations for the hospital motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff and supervisors interact with customers, hospital staff, and visitors to ensure customer satisfaction oversee cash handing processes and POS programming and maintenance We are looking for candidates who have: management experience in the food service industry (restaurants, catering, hospitality, hotels, etc.) previous experience working in a high volume facility ability to learn quickly and adapt technical skills and can learn new software quickly interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders Employees who work at this location are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a term and condition of employment, absent a legally required exception, and are required to report their vaccination status and provide proof of vaccination.
