Retail Execution Manager
Salary Grade 07; Exempt; SIP/15%; Car Eligible
The role of the Retail Execution Manager (REM) is to oversee Mondelz DSD operations for a pre-determined set of strategically identified customers in a geographic market with a store responsibility of approximately 150-200 stores.
The Retail Execution Manager will ensure the execution of sales objectives and priorities across all customers and provide direction to the retail execution team (primarily Sales Service Representatives) through various communication tools. Retail Execution Managers will work closely with customer business teams to ensure the right programs are put in place to achieve sales targets while controlling waste. Each REM will develop a specific store call/visit cadence dictated by revenue and geography to build relationships, address executional opportunities, and strategically sell in these identified stores. Collaboration with Retail Merchandising Supervisors (RMS) will be essential to ensure maximum efficiency in resource deployment for territory coverage. Additionally, the REM will assist the RMS in hiring, training, and coaching merchandisers.
A successful Retail Execution Manager should have sound understanding and be well suited to assume the responsibilities of the role by excelling in the following areas:
Deliver against monthly and quarterly sales objectives in assigned customers
Collaborate with Customer Business Teams to ensure the right programs are in place to achieve our goals
Utilize strong selling skills for headquarter authorized programs as well as executing incremental selling opportunities to grow the business and monitor territory Key Performance Metrics
Ensure execution of sales priorities of assigned accounts/stores and provide direction to retail execution team (Plan on a Page/POP)
Support field sales personnel on all customer related issues, providing value added support to these strategically identified customers
Proactively manage waste/unsaleables by executing against right products in the right stores at the right time
Provide consultation and expertise to our customers in-store
Collaborate with market SIM on improving key store metrics and KPIs (execution, sales, labor, waste)
Strategically plan and execute store call/visit cadence to foster store-level relationships and sell as needed
Recruit, develop and train our retail execution team (primarily FT SSR)
Work in a collaborative manner to plan and effectively assist RMS in deploying merchandising resources within territory budget to build sales volume at store level while ensuring efficiency
Use of analytics to review sales route to ensure maximum efficiency, and coordinate with RMS on deployment needs
Conduct all business operations within Mondelz International safety guidelines

Effective time management and organizational skills
Bachelor's Degree required
You must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license
A flexible work schedule may be required, including being available to work weekends and holidays
Previous Retail, Sales and/or Customer Service experience a plus
Successful completion of drug test, MVR check, and general background check
Ability to perform physical demanding work in a fast-pace work environment and meet the defined physical activities (frequent lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs., occasionally over 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, etc.) while adhering to the safety expectations and processes
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Internet and Cellular/Wireless devices)
