JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to visitors of the Think Gift Shop, ensuring the upkeep of the retail showroom, and assisting in the Agora Café. The role also includes inventory tracking, product knowledge, and ensuring smooth operations in a customer-focused environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Greet patients, customers, and visitors promptly with a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor.

  • Handle customer payment and credit transactions efficiently and accurately.

  • Maintain the retail showrooms cleanliness and appearance, ensuring the work area is neat and organized.

  • Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maximize selling opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Logistics, Accounting, and IT (Square) to track sales and inventory, ensuring accuracy and proper planning.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Square (point-of-sale software), including entering new products, running reports, and adjusting product information.

  • Assist in the Agora Café, including preparing drinks and food as needed.

  • Become knowledgeable in the SkinCeuticals line and confidently discuss products with customers.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules.

  • Skill in providing exemplary customer service.

  • Skill in communicating in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing.

  • Skill in planning, organizing, and time management.

  • Skill in using a computer and a variety of software, inventory management and Point of Sale (POS) software, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

  • Skill in managing multiple priorities and problem solving.

  • Ability to maintain high levels of professional and personal integrity.

  • Ability to convey professional demeanor and sound judgment in dealing with customers needs, protection of patient privacy, and confidentiality.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Ability to act as a good representative of the company.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Highschool diploma or GED required. A minimum of (1) year of experience in customer service, required.
