The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #3140, located at:

10443 W Florissant Ave, Saint Louis, 63136

How You'll Perform the Role

  • Support the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams paint store, servicing wholesale and retail customers.

  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services

  • Ensuring that sales transactions are completed accurately, maintaining precise work order files and formulas, pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse, and tinting and mixing them to customer specifications

  • Assist in sourcing products required by customers that are not available in the store and, upon approval, place order and follow up as necessary.

  • Be responsible for opening and closing the store, making bank deposits, stocking shelves and setting up displays, cleaning store equipment, and loading and unloading trucks.

Our Must Haves

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future

  • Ability to distinguish the difference between colors, a skill used when color matching or tinting paint, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, etc.) safely once trained, with or without reasonable accommodation

Extras to Help you Stand Out

  • Experience in a delivery, retail sales or customer service position

  • Ability to speak more than one language: preferably Spanish

  • Possess a High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED)

  • Valid driver's license

Maintain hospital inventory and return blood products within regulatory compliance. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>1.Receive routine orders for a variety of blood and pharmaceutical products and transfusion-related supplies. Follow appropriate procedures ensuring accurate order entry and order fulfillment. <br><br> Make follow-up calls if product needs cannot be met as expected. Determine most economical method of transportation for hospital shipments.</p><p>2.Maintain/work with data, tools or computer programs to facilitate management and monitoring of product and service information. Rotate inventory of primary and remote facilities to ensure adequate supplies of products for the needs of customers.</p><p>3.Provide customer service to clients. Proactively communicate with hospital customers to increase customer satisfaction. Maintain positive and professional communications, both internally as well as externally to provide regular product/service information and follow-up; promote teamwork.</p><p>4.Investigate and resolve hospital shipment problems.</p><p>5.Receive, investigate and communicate related to customer concerns; complete customer concerns documentation accurately and timely, then forward to appropriate individual(s) to follow-up/review.</p><p>6.Assist hospital personal with inventory alternatives when requested products are unavailable within established guidelines and procedures that assist the customer and the patient.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>Education: High School or equivalent required.</p><p>Experience: Minimum one years related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. <br><br> Progressive experience in a dynamic, multi-task operational environment preferred. Experience in blood or pharmaceutical inventory management/hospital customer relations/logistics is preferred.</p><p>Skills/Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. <br><br> Outstanding interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of customers and staff (paid and volunteer). Must have excellent organizational skills, be able to handle multiple priorities effectively. Problem solving and analytical skills.
