Job Description:

In this position you will provide call center customer service support during Prometric's busiest season (February

  • August). This is a contact center environment, with extended periods of time sitting at a desk handling inbound phone calls and/or processing applications via computer.

Must pass skills test

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist candidates (via phone calls, emails, and scanned applications) with certification/testing process from registration to test delivery

  • Process candidate test applications by entering application data into database

  • Interface with candidates/clients/testing sites in a professional manner

  • Meet or exceed management goals for service levels, processing times, quality assurance, and attendance

  • Maintain a high degree of quality and accuracy in work

  • Answer calls within management standards, consistently deliver quality call handling and meet established metric goals

  • Maintain punctuality and attendance within company guidelines

  • Attend required training sessions to improve performance, learn about new clients and develop professionally

Qualifications/Experience

  • Retail experience a plus

  • Minimum 1 year of Customer Service experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Basic to Intermediate computer software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to empathize and remain professional during all interactions

  • Must complete full two weeks of training with no absences

Compensation

  • Full Time

  • $13/hr

  • Paid Training during

Highly desirable shift hours ranges between 1st Shift 8AM - 5PM or 2nd Shift 12PM - 9PM Monday through Friday and Sat & Sun 8 am and 5 pm. You must be able to work either shift when requested.
