Customer Service Representative (Pawn Broker)

Job Responsibilities:

This role will give you the unique opportunity to interact with our customers on a daily basis, providing assistance with sales, enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. As part of our Customer Service team in our stores, you will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that continues to set EZCORP apart from the competition. Other Customer Service duties include but are not limited to:

  • Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone

  • Processing sales, loans, and extensions

  • Coming to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned

  • Performing opening and closing store procedures

  • Contacting customers to generate new and repeat business

Job Requirements

As a member of our customer service team you must be self-motivated with a positive and outgoing personality and a strong work ethic. Excelling at customer service and relationship building will take you far in your career with EZCORP. We want you to love coming to work every day!

Requirements for the Customer Service Representative (Pawnbroker) role include:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience or retail experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Work well independently and as member of a Team

  • Multitask

  • Ability to offer and describe various solutions and benefits to the customer

  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

  • Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus

  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and regulations

  • Sales background, a plus

  • Bilingual, a plus

Customer Service Representative Determine customer's requirements accurately and communicate those requirements to AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings' Support Groups. Key Responsibilities and Duties: * Enter orders and price quotations on a timely and accurate basis. Verify orders against OE worksheet and correct discrepancies. * Organize and maintain department files including bill-to and ship-to data. * Enter price lists into database. * Enter credit/debits to support discrepancies in invoicing or in shipping information. * Provide optimum customer service and assistance to maintain and enhance existing (and potential) customer base. This includes providing customer assistance with product information and specification inquires. * Process and acknowledge customer purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner while adhering to AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings' procedures and policies. * Work with Planning to expedite orders outside of standard lead times. * Maintain disposition of all open orders while informing customers of product delinquency and proposed recovery dates while keeping support groups and Customer Service Supervisor informed of major changes or negative impact to customer production schedules. * Process non-conforming documentation and sales orders to provide replacement product when necessary * Complete research needed to support Accounting collection efforts JOB QUALIFICATIONS: .
