Overview
The Retail Credit and Insurance Specialist is pivotal in developing comprehensive reports and tracking mechanisms to assess credit levels, portfolio performance, and operational metrics. This role demands immediate engagement with credit activities, including evaluating customer accounts, making credit decisions, and managing collection processes. The specialist will also handle the registration and documentation of retail insurance policies, verify rental insurance coverages, and support various teams within the company.

Develops various reports and tracking mechanisms to assess credit levels, portfolio performance, and operational metrics
Reviews registration and documentation of retail insurance policies within vendor-specified timelines.
Evaluates past due customer accounts, recommending payment plans based on financial strength and purchase activity
Reviews credit requests, makes decisions within approved authority matrix, and submits to management for requests exceeding limits
Identifies delinquent accounts for collection and responds to inquiries regarding credit limits and customer accounts
Performs collection and related credit activities, maintains records, and provides assistance other employees
Verifies rental insurance coverages and tracks participation in the Titan Advantage Program
Collaborates with the Marketing Team to enhance End of Warranty (EOW) Customer notification processes
Assists stores with insurance quoting and administers extended service agreements
Supports Sales Team with reporting, claims, and insurance concerns
Collaborates with various stakeholders to establish and expand credit limits
Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
2+ years' work related in credit, insurance, or related business and/or related military experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to handle and resolve interpersonal conflict
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, stressful work environment
Ability to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and work flexible hours
