The Director, Asset Protection Investigations and Analytics will contribute to the development of Asset Protection (AP) programs by providing leadership to Central Investigations, store and field AP teams in initiating and executing programs that reduce shortage exposure, mitigate theft and maximize profitability. The Director will prepare and develop reporting that provides predictive forecasting and trend analysis to mitigate current and future business challenges. The Director will analyze situations, provide direction, communicate expectations and coach to achieve desired results with shortage reduction and performance goals.
Create and establish routines and reporting, using various data sources that communicate AP information in an effective manner to multiple levels of Central and Store leadership.
Develop and manage the overall Internal Investigation, Fraud and Organized Retail Crime (ORC) strategy.
Manage and enhance utilization of Think LP case management software and other platforms.
Accountable for comprehensive investigative performance of all AP staff in partnership with stores leadership.
Responsible for all internal and ORC case management, including the training of the AP Managers to initiate, fully investigate, bring to a timely conclusion and analyze the process of internal investigations.
Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
5+ years related experience
Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
A current Certified Forensic Interviewer Certification (CFI) is preferred
Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing
Occasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing and talking
Continuous use of computers and other office equipment
Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
