The Retail Banker is responsible for the growth of consumer and business customer relationships, while delivering the Woodforest Experience to every customer, every day, every time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to the customer.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit operational excellence through diligent adherence to policies and procedures.

Practice branch security procedures and protect customer confidentiality and privacy.

  • Perform branch servicing duties such as paying and receiving, cash and vault balancing, ordering cash, cards, reports, audits, control checks, maintaining and servicing automated teller machines, as well as cleaning work areas.

Open and perform account maintenance on depository accounts and loans.

  • Demonstrate ownership in the resolution of customer inquiries and/or concerns at the frontline or by appropriately engaging with internal resources.

  • Must be proactive when seeking business outside of the branch.

  • Must be open to direct coaching and feedback.

  • Ability to work flexible or extended working hours to meet business needs; demonstrated reliability.

  • Demonstrate a passion for taking care of people by exhibiting effective problem-solving abilities, the ability to maintain composure and convey a positive attitude while interacting with customers as well as internal team members.

  • Knowledge of/or ability to quickly learn products, services, policies, procedures, regulatory guidelines, as well as engaging in a sales and service process.

  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, follow directions, and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to understand instructions, forms, applications, and be familiar with financial statements and credit reports.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience;

  • OR an Associate's degree and 1 year of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience;

  • OR a Bachelor's degree.

  • Previous instore banking experience is preferred, but not required.

  • Must be positive and engaging.

Formal Education & Certification:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • No.

Travel:

  • Up to 25% or more outside of branch or as needed by customer.

Working Conditions:

  • Conditions include standing most of the time, may involve walking, moving, bending, stooping or sitting for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 30 lbs.

Within the Gulf Coast branch, Veolia operates a hazardous waste incinerator in Port Arthur, TX, a service center in Baytown, TX and a service center in Morrow, GA. The Gulf Coast branch offers the following services: Lab Chemical Services, On-Site Services, Transportation, Household Hazardous Waste, Reactive Chemicals, Remediation, Training Services, Specialty Services, Drum Management, Incineration, Fuels Blending, Recycling and Radioactive Waste Management. A Waste Tracking Coordinator is responsible for complying, reviewing, and keying inventory data into automated systems. Track and maintain inbound and outbound manifest records in an efficient and effective manner. Also, reviews and reconciles a variety of monthly waste related reports and distributes to appropriate personnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Enter inbound material tracking data (inbound drums) into waste tracking system. * Review inbound manifest paperwork for compliance with notices and notifies appropriate personnel of any improper discrepancies. * Compile data from operating records, review for errors and determine corrections in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures. * Provide daily movement and inventory reports for waste preparation prior to routing to appropriate personnel and locations. * On a scheduled basis key-in physical inventory and review for errors. * Reconcile and/or resolve errors with appropriate operations personnel in accordance with procedures. * Completes a variety of summary reports pertaining to inventory reconciliation and creates miscellaneous reports on an as-needed basis. * Run Certificate Of Destruction (COD) reports and issues COD's to customers upon request. EOE M/F/D/V Education/Experience: * High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required * Associate's degree in a related field preferred * Prior work experience of 3 to 6 months in a clerical position preferred Veolia Port Arthur TX
