Summary of Job:

Responsible for assisting guests with boot selection, proper fit, stance, balancing, alignment and custom footbeds. Describes and promotes products in line with customers expressed needs.

Places guests in properly fitting demo equipment. Conducts inventory of demo equipment. Performs in-depth boot analysis and work.

Demonstrates high level of product knowledge. Prior experience, skills, and training are required to perform successfully at this level. May train new and existing associate positions.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers by developing a rapport, building customer confidence, providing accurate information, and promoting product through point of sale

  • Properly identify customer riding ability, have general understanding of basic foot identification and measurements (length, width, overall shape, size, etc.)

  • Demonstrate knowledge of products and inventory to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Communicate effectively with customers, teach as well as listen on all levels

  • Responsible for increasing sales, units per transaction, transaction size and high levels of profitability

  • Serve as a resource and knowledge base for new and existing employees

Job Requirements:

  • Education: HS Diploma or GED Equivalent

  • Work Experience: At least one year relevant work experience required.

  • Computer Skills:
    Basic computer skills with ability to learn

  • LanguageSkills:
    English fluency required

  • Other Requirements:
    Excellent customer service skills; Ability to handle multiple customers and projects at one time; Attention to detail.

  • Preferred Skills:
    Basicmath skills; Bootfitter certification

Reach Your Peak.   Do you love working with kids?  Join our resort-based Childcare team, and have the opportunity to work with kids each day in one of the most unique classrooms ever - Park City Resort! Organize, coordinate, and supervise the daily operations alongside the rest of our Childcare staff members, and help provide these kids with fun experiences whether they're just visiting for a few days, or are in our program year-round!    What’s in it for you?  * Fun, dynamic work environment at the largest resort in the US as our backyard  * Training and talent development programs are part of the experience * Work / Play Balance: Consistent work schedule = time to play  * EPIC Ski Pass – Ski for free at all of our Vail resorts * Food, Lodging, and Retail Discounts   Duties/Responsibilities:  * Effectively handle customer issues relating to the center. * Communicate effectively with parents and properly with children. * Perform opening and closing duties. * Attend staff meetings and other special trainings. * Follow lesson plan and carry out age appropriate activities. * Provide a safe environment for children at all times. * Ensure rooms are kept in a tidy manner throughout the day. * Follow correct procedures during check in and checkout process. * Efficiently communicate with other caregivers in regards to child information and care. * Maintain and file children’s records such as child report cards and review them with parents. * Ensure that all state-daycare licensing requirements are maintained. * Maintain records of children such as accident reports, registration forms etc. * Communicate with office pertaining to revenue payments and drop-ins. * Provide information such as daily rates and activities to guests when appropriate. * Perform other related jobs as necessary.   Qualifications:  * High School education or equivalent. * At least 6 months childcare experience or study preferred. * Strong knowledge of childcare program development and implementation. * Enjoyment of and enthusiasm for childcare. * Excellent team building and leadership skills. * Must be 18 years of age or older per state requirements. * Strong organizational skills. * CPR and first aid training with certification is desirable. * Ability to pass a criminal background screen. * Extended sitting, standing, bending, lifting, etc. * Standing, hiking, or walking. * Tolerate all weather conditions. * Ability to tolerate high levels of stress and high levels of noise.   Becoming part of the Park City team means you're joining one of the best ski brands in the world.
