Customer Service / Sales

  • Greet customers, determine needs and answer questions

  • Suggest sell add-on items, participate in retail store and commercial sales activities to achieve sales goals

  • Ask questions to identify potential commercial customers

  • Operate computer/cash register to complete sales transactions

  • Answer phones, ensuring messages are relayed

  • Function as a team player

  • Demonstrate a customer first mentality

  • Merchandising / Inventory

  • Rotate and stock inventory

  • Install batteries, perform tests and tech work

  • Load, unload, and deliver or arrange delivery of products

  • Organize daily recovery of displays to achieve full store appearance

  • Maintain retail shelf label pricing

  • Build displays; setting up & taking down shelves and fixtures

  • Prepare store for daily opening and closing


  • H.S. diploma/equivalent and 6 months prior work experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior retail experience desired but not required

  • Ability to gain quick and solid understanding of company's electronic retail and cross reference system

  • Good listening and verbal communication skills with a customer focus

  • Must possess and use organizational and analytical problem solving skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks to effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines with multiple tasks and projects

  • Ability to calculate simple math, percents, ratios and algebraic expressions and read gauges

  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and or technical experience desired

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred. Required for driving positions

Eastside is a 310-bed, multi-campus system of care offering comprehensive medical and surgical programs including cardiovascular, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, robotic surgery, rehabilitation, maternity with neonatal intensive care, behavioral health, bariatric, urgent care, and 24-hour emergency care at two locations. Eastside is seeking a Endoscopy Technician (PRN/As Needed). Position Responsibilities: * Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served. * Promotes customer service initiatives. * Assists with stocking supplies and maintains clean working environment. * Assists co-workers to meet patient care needs. Department Specific Criteria: * Demonstrates competency, as appropriate to responsibilities, in the knowledge of the prevention of contamination and transfer of infection and safety policies. * Performs proper scrub according to policy. * Prepares instrumentation according to physician's preference cards and scheduled procedure * Demonstrates competency in the effective and safe use of all equipment. * Demonstrates proper use of instruments, equipment and endoscopic devises. * Saves and properly identifies all specimens according to department policy and procedure. * Follow department policy for proper use of personal protective equipment during procedures. * Prepares and properly disposes of sharps, blood, and waste according to policy and procedure. * Performs as preceptor as assigned. * Assists in preparing the endoscopy suite and performs assigned support duties during endoscopic procedures. * Checks all instruments for workability prior to usage, displaying knowledge of instruments and equipment. * Readies all positioning devices deemed necessary by procedure, surgeon preference and patient pre-operative assessment. * Secures all necessary x-rays when appropriate. * Shares responsibility for patient's safety at all times. * Maintains an environment that is free of obstacles and hazards that could result in injuries to personnel and patients. * Assists with positioning of patient, provides protection for pressure points, and keeps body parts in proper alignment. * Assures that the procedure information is documented on the procedural cards for future reference according to policy and procedure. * Checks endoscopes for air leaks * Reports any equipment malfunction to Clinical Coordinator * Maintains logs for daily monitoring of strips and solution changes Healthcare Corporation of America (HCA) is a community of 94,000 Registered Nurses and 38,000 active physicians.
