Position Title: Retail Account Manager
Location: Mason, OH
Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 + Bonus (Compensation will be commensurate with experience)

Reports To: EVP - Retail & Field Sales

DESCRIPTION
The Retail Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of retail operations, including, but not limited to: order entry; vendor management; order fulfillment; reporting; inventory management; out of stock management; customer service management, and warehouse overflow assistant when available. This role will utilize and deploy many of the shared service of Touchstone but will not be responsible for direct oversight of shared services. These shared services include, but are not limited to: Creative; Warehouse & Fulfillment; Finance; Platform Operations, etc. This role will collaborate, trouble shoot, problem solve, evolve, grow, and perform as a model Touchstone leader.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

CALENDAR PLANNING

  • Responsible for partnering with client to build out quarterly / 12-month marketing calendar
  • Merchandise and present collections in advance of all calendar events to customer
  • Partner with suppliers for sampling / idea generation for events
  • Develop promotional schedule that ties together hot market / events with new product releases

TRAVEL

  • Travel may be required to visit industry trade shows and / or customer to host QBRs or product idea generation

NEW PRODUCT GENERATION

  • Curate and present new product decks
  • Utilize 3rd party software (MeisterTask) to work with creative team on design edits / completions

SALES ANALYSIS

  • Using previous and current market data, develop out inventory plan for 3 months coverage

ORDER ENTRY

  • Responsible for entering orders and managing vendors to deliver agreed upon Gross Profit % to Touchstone and Client
  • Enter / manage all orders and samples for retail channel of business. Under normal business practice, all orders / samples to be entered same day. During heightened business (i.e. black Friday), to be entered within 48 hours

MANAGEMENT

  • Manage vendors to exceed the established KPIs of the retail channel for production, delivery, and invoicing
  • Manage customer service, and retail channel CPS

ORDER FULFILLMENT

  • Create a fulfillment for completed orders with 24 hours of delivery / shipment.
  • Adjust purchase order quantities for short / over shipment of goods so that order will balance once bills are entered

REPORTING

  • Weekly reporting (Monday mornings) on all retail channel customers (internal / external reports)
  • Monthly reporting (end of month) on all retail channel customers (royalties / status for channel as a whole)

INVENTORY / OUT OF STOCK MANAGEMENT

  • Report daily (if needed) incoming stock to warehouse / customer service associates
  • Daily check for out of stocks

OVERFLOW

  • Assist warehouse or other retail members where needed

Requirements

GENERAL

  • Candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Versatility/Agility: Be able to move seamlessly from internal to external, and strategic to tactical thinking. Works constructively under pressure responds resourcefully to change and maintains a confident and constructive outlook despite difficulty, frustrations or ambiguity. Stays focused and maintain quality when handling multiple tasks across multiple disciplines at the same time, knowing when to consult with key influencers to help make critical decisions.
  • Project Management: Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects at the same time. Ability to prioritize internal and external projects with a clear focus on results. Through example and leadership, set the tone for the project team (internal and external) and be accountable.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ Years proven experience in projection creation and ability to compete and win
  • Proven ability to represent Touchstone in an appropriate fashion, consistent with the Culture; Pledge; and Leadership Team of Touchstone
  • A proven track record of investing in yourself and those around you
  • Proven & Articulated Leadership and Management of Staff to high performance
  • 6-10 years Promotional Products Experience or Related Industry
  • Inventory planning, strategy, and analysis (preferred)
