We are restoration/renovation champions focusing on various commercial, multi-family and healthcare projects. We're looking for an experienced estimator with experience in Capital Expenditures. What You Will Be Doing

  • Initial cost estimates

  • Generate accurate estimates, sketches, proposals, and budgets

  • Create accurate and well written contracts ensuring they are in place to protect the company while maintaining a strong relationship with the client

  • Oversee the entire construction project from conception, planning, implementation, to completion

  • Ensure timeliness, quality and uniformity of the project

  • Identify opportunities while assessing project risks

  • Allocate proper resources for assigned projects

  • Prepare, participate, and present cost/budget information

  • Work directly with onsite superintendents for multiple projects

  • Oversee costs, personnel and subcontractors

  • Manage qualified list of subcontractor and vendor lists

  • Interface with various city and county officials, clients, insurance reps, architects, engineers and inspectors
    What You Need for this Position

More Than 5 Years of experience and knowledge of:

  • Previous experience in construction management

  • Commercial, healthcare, Multi-Family experience

  • Knowledge of estimating software (Xactimate, LOTUS, MC2, MSPro)

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Client & safety focused

  • Effective communicator; verbal and written

  • Negotiation and analytical

  • Deadline & detail oriented

To research us in more detail, visit Responsibilities: * Update and improve multi-family properties to increase return on investment. * Perform specific apartment renovation assignments. * Provide suggestions for upgrading flooring, cabinets, countertops, bedrooms, living rooms and bathrooms according to selected designs. * Keep Project Managers abreast of renovation project progress by providing regular updates. * Perform and/or assist with general appliance repairs, carpet repairs and minor A/C and electrical repairs. * Perform complex carpentry work, painting and complex plumbing duties as required. * Install new appliances, complex electrical, cabinetry, etc. * Lead small teams and assigning work. * Oversee sub-contractor projects and timelines. * Move appliances, furniture, cabinetry, etc., with assistance. * Maintain a safe work area at all times and keep shop & work area orderly and clean. * Adhere to and comply with company safety policies and rules and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed and recommended. * Adhere to OSHA safety standards that are applicable for the safe performance of job. * Report any damage or safety hazards immediately to supervisor. * Maintain courteous helpful demeanor with owners, residents, prospective residents, coworkers, vendors, etc. * Participate in company training classes/courses and meetings. * Perform all other duties assigned by Project Managers (or other personnel acting in a supervisory capacity). Skills/Requirements Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent. * General understanding of light repair on electric, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC. * Maintain complete working knowledge of Fair Housing laws, rules and regulations. * Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs., and occasionally lift and carry up to 80 lbs. Ability push and pull appliance dolly up to 200 lbs., move objects from one floor to another * Ability to bend/stoop, climb stairs, kneels, balance, reach above shoulder height, walk and twist, have a reliable vision, hearing and speech with or without corrective devices such as glasses, hearing aid, etc. * Professional appearance and ability to be courteous & helpful to residents, prospective residents, co-workers, vendors, etc. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and in writing. * Position may require the ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year and may also require working on-call hours, as scheduled or as necessary. * Must have a valid Drivers License.
