As the Working Chef, you will oversee the dinner service at our restaurant, ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. This position offers a competitive salary of $75,000, along with a performance-based bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the dinner service, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to create and update the dinner menu based on seasonal availability and guest preferences.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment.
• Manage inventory levels and ordering of ingredients to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Oversee food portioning and plating to maximize efficiency and minimize food waste.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef or Working Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food sanitation practices.

Benefits

The compensation package for this position includes an annual salary of $75,000, a performance-based bonus of 10%, and relocation assistance ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 to support your transition.
