RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the restaurant during a shift and surprises our guests with the experience

  • Delegates responsibilities to your team of rockstars and ensure they are exceeding the expectations of each guest

  • Ensures all our tasty noodles and veggies are stocked & stored

  • Becomes a subject matter expert in each area of the restaurant

  • Maintains cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensure proper set up and breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas

  • Owns open, mid or close routines for the next shift

  • Makes sure all food meets company and HACCP rules and regulations and is super-delicious

  • Develops team members into future leaders themselves

  • Recognizes a job well-done

  • Lives the culture of Noodles & Company

  • Exemplifies guest service for the whole team

  • Must be punctual (Your team looks up to you, after all)

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent guest service skills, ability to communicate efficiently to help keep all team members informed

  • Must love Noodles

  • Ability to work nights, weekend and holidays

  • Previous management or leadership experience required

  • Customer service experience preferred, preferably in a restaurant environment

  • Position may include cook, cashier, and/or server responsibilities, requiring walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling or moving objects up to 55 pounds

  • Certain other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable in a standard kitchen/restaurant environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Lead and develop staff to perform the "essential functions" of their position. * Provide direct and effective supervision and guidance of theatre associates. * Ensure that associates satisfy all AMC guest service standards. * Ensure proper staffing in each area. * Perform daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties. * Reinforce guest and operational focus through MBWA (Managing By Walking Around). * Review financial numbers, utilizing OBI reports on a regular basis as a management tool to optimize financial results and the guest experience. * Take ownership of successful completion of personal training program. * Oversee individual dine-in theatre area, if assigned. * Assist with hiring, training, developing, and appropriately disciplining theatre associates. * Work effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors and corporate partners. * Listen, communicate, and work to resolve guest concerns. * Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. * Maintain regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts. * Uphold AMC's business practice standards and ensure compliance with company programs and policies. * Complete all other functions and assignments as assigned by the General Manager or Senior Manager (where applicable). UNIFORM * Provided by theatre: AMC-issued shirt, black pants, black belt, and nametag. * Provided by associate: Black shoes, socks.
