Description

The Gardens Restaurant at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center is seeking candidates for its Restaurant Server position. Responsibilities include: taking orders; handling money and using computerized food ordering system; verifying patrons' identification to ensure compliance with PLCB laws regarding minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages; serve food and beverage to guests; and prepare tables and service-ware and the clearing of tables.

Must demonstrate the ability to work on feet for extended periods of time, and lift and carry trays of food, dishes, flatware and glassware. Shift: Various shifts are available to include weekends and some holidays.

Requires the ability to read, write, add, subtract, and follow instructions. Pay rates start at $10.00 per hour with the possibility of an increase after 90 days.
