Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our upscale establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a track record of success in the restaurant industry. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and supervisors, to ensure exceptional service standards are consistently met
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize restaurant operations, enhance guest satisfaction, and maximize profitability
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and vendor relations to ensure sufficient supply levels and cost-effective purchasing practices
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to uphold company policies, procedures, and service standards
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, striving to exceed expectations and resolve issues effectively
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus, special promotions, and craft cocktail / beverage selections
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, such as sales reports, labor costs, and budget variances, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Promote the restaurant via social media and traditional marketing
- Come up with creative ideas to attract new customers and bring back existing customers
Qualifications:
- Several years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in an upscale or fine dining establishment
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, sanitation standards, and health regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and vendors
- Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business
- ServSafe certification and/or other relevant industry certifications are a plus
