Restaurant Manager

Job Description Job Description Well-known casual dining establishment in Massapequa is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to run the daily activities of both the front / back of the house. Candidate Qualifications: 2 years' experience in a restaurant management position Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task Excellent communication skills Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines either independently or as part of a team Ability to provide support in any area as required, i.e., back end, expediting, front end, etc.

Responsibilities include: Hires, fires, trains and evaluates employees for front end / back end staff Oversight of all daily activities; knowledge of day to day operations Food procurement / food vendor relationships Develops and implements food budgets Motivates employees through incentives and positive feedback Establish superior performance standards for the employee population Ensures that the company is on track to meet its sales goals This is a full-time position and requires 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends. 2 days off per week guaranteed. Salary commensurate with experience.
