As a Restaurant Manager (General Manager or Assistant Manager), you will be the leader of your restaurant's Meatcraft. You will lead your Restaurant Management Team and Team Members through performance, engagement and training initiatives. From local store marketing to helping reach sales and profit goals, you'll be responsible in ensuring that your restaurant is delivering the top meats.

Applies knowledge of risk tolerance for specific lines of business and underwriting procedures in providing sufficient and appropriate information to the assigned underwriter. Our Commercial Lines Regional Underwriting Support team is growing, and we are seeking results-driven individuals to fulfill critical roles as U/W Techs, Assistant Underwriters and Underwriting Associates. These positions are the first steps on the underwriting career path, and will help you gain the foundation and training needed to become a successful underwriter. Positions are available in Montgomery AL; Charlotte NC; Windsor CT, Milwaukee WI, Madison WI and Denver CO. These are hybrid positions allowing the flexibility to work at home on Mondays and Fridays; Tuesday-Thursday are required in-office. Underwriting Tech The Underwriting Technician assists the Underwriters by supporting their daily operations. In this entry-level role, you'll: * Process mail, verify drivers, order audits and process policy changes. * Receive and respond to internal calls and emails. * Maintain data systems, prepare reports, spreadsheets and files. * Participate in underwriting training sessions. * Correspond with the Underwriting department or independent agent to verify applicant information. * Perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties within the Underwriting unit. * What it Takes- Underwriting Tech * Associate Degree or equivalent experience * 0-2 years of previous experience and/or coursework strongly preferred * Previous experience in an underwriting environment and/or previous rating experience beneficial * High level of PC skills in programs such as Microsoft Office * Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle a high volume of work Assistant Underwriter As an entry-level Assistant Underwriter, you'll work closely with other Business Products functions and interact daily with the product and premium services, premium audit, safety sciences, accounting, and operations support units to ensure service and quality objectives are met. In addition, you'll: * Receive and respond to phone calls and emails from agents, brokers, and sales personnel regarding all coverage and transaction types to obtain information needed to properly underwrite, price, and program policies/accounts. * Work on underwriting assignments such as loss and risk exposure evaluation through the use of manuals, established procedures, and collected information. Refer business outside of authority limit. * Apply underwriting policies, philosophies, and procedures to evaluate the overall acceptability of risk to determine if it fits Sentry's underwriting guidelines. * Process policy change requests, renewals, and some new business within knowledge and authority levels. * May handle facultative reinsurance quoting, processing, and issuance. * What it Takes- Assistant Underwriter * Associate Degree or equivalent experience. * 1-3 years of related work experience. * Knowledge of underwriting systems and/or various software applications preferred. * Insurance courses related to property and casualty insurance, such as IIA and CPCU beneficial. * Effective communication, analytical, and mathematical skills. Underwriter Associate Our Underwriter Associates within Sentry's Regional unit work closely with independent agents to underwrite, price and program individual policies/accounts. You will: * Work closely with sales personnel to obtain necessary information to underwrite, price and program policies * Work within specific limits to Underwrite basic accounts * Work with other business functions to ensure service and quality objectives are met * Demonstrate an understanding of the insurance marketplace and emerging industry issues * Complete assigned project work requiring a basic level of technical knowledge * Perform other job related duties including training, presenting, attending sales meetings, traveling to agents, participating in audits, and covering desks for other Underwriters * What it Takes- Underwriter Associate * Associate Degree or equivalent work experience. * 1-3 years of related work experience. * Knowledge of underwriting systems and/or various software applications preferred. * Insurance courses related to property and casualty insurance, such as IIA and CPCU beneficial. * Effective communication, analytical, and mathematical skills.
