JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Control daily the dining room set up /cleanliness prior opening and report all defects to Management as well as Engineering / Housekeeping.
• Inspects daily dining room serving stations for cleanliness.
• Ensure daily that all menus are updated, clean and in good conditions.
• Maintain paar of operating supplies such as pens, POS Thermal paper, check presenters etc….
• Schedules dining reservations and arranges special services for dinners through OPENTABLE platform.
• In OPENTABLE, maintain accurate records of daily, weekly, and monthly new and repeat guests and their interactions and visits for future communication and marketing.
• Assist management with guest feedback acknowledgement and response via OPENTABLE and Social Media.
• Communicate with guest in person, email, or phone in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
• Effectively handle customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner without supervision.
• Assist management with daily line up and facilitate staff meeting.
• Assist management with lobby bar / Patio Happy Hours bookings.
• Monitor restaurant and patio activities , including BEO's, happy hour and private events.
• Collaborate with sales team and management weekly with social media update.
• Always maintain a professional appearance and manner - no leaning, slushing, or seating.
• Encourage guest to participate in restaurant and hotel programs and services.
• Inform guests about hotel amenities, local attractions, and events.
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Full-service restaurant experience helpful
• Ability to stand for extended period of time and lift up to 50 pounds, as needed
• Capable of continuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to create a hospitable environment for both guests and staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Must be able to start as early as 6:30am, work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
